{"id":2506,"date":"2026-08-26T20:16:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T20:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gusto-lab.com\/?p=2506"},"modified":"2026-09-08T20:19:40","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T20:19:40","slug":"first-place-mcgill-universitys-masters-research-project-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gusto-lab.com\/en\/2026\/08\/26\/first-place-mcgill-universitys-masters-research-project-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"First Place McGill University\u2019s Master\u2019s Research Project Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Student Team Receives Award for Research Excellence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gusto Lab is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of <strong>Michaela Field, Meghan Gallagher, Faith Murray, and Sophie Tremblay<\/strong>, master\u2019s students at McGill University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-supervised by <strong>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Poncet<\/strong> and <strong>Aliki Thomas<\/strong>, the team conducted the research project entitled <em>\u201cFrom Evidence to Practice: A Rapid Review and Qualitative Exploration of Assistive Technology for Meal Preparation in Neurorehabilitation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project explored how assistive technologies can support meal preparation among individuals undergoing neurorehabilitation, while helping to bridge the gap between research evidence and clinical practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The students were recognized at <strong>McGill University\u2019s Master\u2019s Research Project Awards<\/strong>, where they received <strong>First Place<\/strong> in recognition of the overall excellence of their project, as well as their engagement, initiative, and commitment throughout the research process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This distinction highlights not only the quality of their work, but also their professionalism, collaboration, and dedication to advancing rehabilitation practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Congratulations to the entire team on this well-deserved recognition!<\/strong> <strong>It has been a pleasure to work with and support such a remarkable group of emerging researchers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student Team Receives Award for Research Excellence The Gusto Lab is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Michaela Field, Meghan Gallagher, Faith Murray, and Sophie Tremblay, master\u2019s students at McGill University.
