The intern will work with Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Poncet, a researcher at the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Center (CRLM) and affiliated with the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this internship, the intern will gain valuable professional experience while immersed in a research environment.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The student will join a multidisciplinary team (occupational therapists, psychologist, students, etc.).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ultimate goal of the research project is to create a collection of inclusive solutions (in paper and digital formats) to support meal preparation and daily autonomy for people with cognitive and physical impairments, such as neurodegenerative diseases, long COVID or acquired brain injury (ABI).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus groups with people living with neurodegenerative diseases have helped identify their needs in relation to meal preparation. Participants highlighted the fact that there is no \u2018guide\u2019 to help them adapt their daily lives; they noted that existing solutions are scattered, hard to access, and require considerable effort to gather.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Under the supervision of the researcher and her team, the intern will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attending team meetings and contributing to discussions<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documenting solutions proposed by users<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participating in the creation of interviews with the research team<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preparing and organizing interview logistics<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participating in interview analysis<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contributing to drafting a mini-specifications document for the co-creation of the solution collection for meal preparation (involves a writing phase)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Working environment:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Internship starting April 2026 (or later), for a maximum of 6 months<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salary based on previous experience and education<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-site work at CRLLM<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flexible schedule of about 14
